Creating patterns with your own stamps

Collecting stamps is an age-old hobby. But here’s a modern twist.

Instagram is full of posts showing old books being given a second life as ‘sketchbooks’, with people having painted, drawn and pasted all over the yellowing sheets, lines of text and old (nature) pictures.

Another nice way to transform those pages is with patterns of your very own stamps—from bright, simple shapes cut out of erasers or potatoes to motifs made from inked leaves. Puts a whole new perspective on the hobby of collecting stamps.
