Special features
Cute little apartments have been built in the back of an old farmhouse. Each apartment is furnished with a nice kitchen and its own terrace. The interior is fresh with a bit of design, but also still incorporates the old elements of the farm, like the small stained glass windows. From the terrace there is a great view of the beautiful Drenthe landscape, the organic vegetable garden and the old tree orchard.
What’s for breakfast?
Several artisanal breads, tasty toppings, fresh OJ, seasonal fruits and a boiled egg or scrambled eggs. You can also make your own breakfast in the kitchen if you choose. You can fetch groceries on the bicycle in Diever or Dwingeloo.
Our tip
Visit the Museum of Fake Art in Vledder, or go for a nice walk in the area.
Good food
Restaurant ‘Onder de Eiken’ in Dwingeloo (Onderdeeiken.nl) is located in an authentic Drenthe farm with a view of the ash trees of Dwingeloo. It serves delicious regional specialties and organic products.
