Not only are there fresh specimens in vases and the garden, but you’ll also find them blooming on the dishes, cushions and surrounding paintings.

Bed of Flowers is a wonderful, romantic place that is located by a small dyke on the river Waal and surrounded by fields, woods and orchards. The area is beautiful whatever the season, and a must if you are looking for a weekend break for two. Florien, the owner, loves flowers, and her passion is certainly reflected in the accommodation.
Where do you sleep?
In a flowery bedroom, with vibrant colors like pink, turquoise and apple green. There are fresh flowers from the garden, colorful paintings and floral pillows everywhere. Breakfast is served on floral china in the general guest living room, which has patio doors leading to the lovely garden outside.
Our tip
Take a guided walk to enjoy the most beautiful spots and come face-to-face with Deep Red cattle and Konik horses. You’ll also find the medieval castle, Slot Doddendael, nearby where you can enjoy good food and the ancient romantic lock.
