Why is this such a great place to stay?
Tralaluna Casita on Wheels is a jolly place. Picking out your own camper van is just the start of the fun: each camper is unique and wonderful. From artistic to schmaltzy, and with vintage, wise and hilarious decorative touches. The vans have cute names like Ome Tinus and Tante Toos. They are furnished with everything you need, from a lemon press to freshly laundered bed linen.
How much fun is a camper to stay in?
Really fun. There is a Play Time Suitcase with old-fashioned Dutch games such as ‘Pim Pam Pet’ and ‘Mens erger je niet’, as well as a crochet set, a viewmaster, catapult and other fun stuff. Each little Casita on Wheels is unique and has its own selection of interesting toys. Ome Tinus (Uncle Tinus’) has a gramophone player and a selection of singles, and Tante Toos (‘Aunt Toos’) has a box of ministeck. But the best part about the vans is that you can go on the road with them.
