Special features
Hotel de Prins is a mini hotel in the middle of the Betuwe region, and it has a comfortable living room feel. It is filled with cute Orange decorations (Orange as in the Dutch royal family) such as childhood pictures of King Willem Alexander. Great for royalists. The rooms are lovely and light. The location is also very pleasant; in the summer you can sit on the terrace by the water. And in the winter you can snuggle by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa and a slice of apple pie. Another bonus is that you can eat here too as this hotel also has a well-priced restaurant.

Wonderful fresh rolls from the neighborhood bakery and lots of yummy things to go with it. And of course freshly squeezed juice made of Betuwe fruit.
Our tip
The best time of year to visit here is when the fruit trees are in full blossom. It is truly magical and you can explore the area by bicycle. Or rent a canoe and discover the Betuwe from the water.
Good food
Enjoy a round of drinks at the city café of Buren (www.dehofhouding.nl) at the top of the street. Great Dutch bitterballen and super Belgian beers.
