This estate has such a relaxed atmosphere that you get that wonderful holiday feeling the moment you set foot here. Just as the Dutch owners Jan and Anja Verheijen intended. You can sleep in the Chambre d’Hôtes, the Huisje aan de Lot or in one of the Safari Lodge tents. The rooms of the house are beautiful and quiet with stylish interior design, each room in its own colors. The Huisje is also super cute, with its own terrace. You can sit around the pool with the other guests.
What’s for breakfast?
The ‘boulanger’ visits early in the morning to deliver fresh baguettes, croissants and other goodies. Inside, the coffee will already be brewing and on the breakfast terrace the Dutch newspaper awaits you. You can ask the kitchen for eggs the way you want them, and enjoy the extensive buffet while you wait. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and cheese from the local dairy, wonderful French quality!
Our tip
You can enjoy a boating trip on the Lot or visit beautiful castles. The lovely city of Bordeaux is another wonderful destination for a day.
Good food
Do as the French do and have a nice leisurely lunch at village restaurant Le Commerce in Castelmoron sur Lot.
