If you’re looking for an excuse to plan a trip to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, later this year, then what better reason than a creative holiday with artist Rachel Hazell. Held from September 15 to 19, Rachel’s Paper Navigations book art workshop is a five-day event in which you explore the city and its stationery emporiums, bookshops and library as well as cruise the canals on a private boat, and create your own art book as you do so. At the end of the five days, you’ll head back home with your very own map-fold books filled with personal paper navigations, in ink, paint, collage or text. So much better than a bunch of photos snapped on your phone. For more information and to book a (limited) place, visit her website.
