Plastic straws: we only use them for a few minutes, but they lurk on Earth for centuries. And as they often come as standard when we order a drink, or best-laid plans to help stop plastic pollution can go awry.
Which is where Dutch illustrator Lieke van der Vorst (aka Liekeland) and designer Dave Hakkens come in. They have created (free) little stickers that can be stuck onto menus as a reminder to all to ditch the straw. If you’d like to take part in this do-good guerilla-campaign, go to this website.
