Laughter is the best medicine

Sometimes, the best medicine is something far simpler than you may think…

If you want to reduce your risk of heart disease, as well as exercising regularly, it seems you should laugh for fifteen minutes a day, too. Not only has laughing been found to help fight infections, ease hay fever and pain and help control diabetes, studies show that laughing boosts our blood flow by more than 20 percent (similar to aerobic activity) and that its positive effect lasts for about 45 minutes. Which just goes to show that laughter really is the best medicine.
