Ever find yourself wishing you owned an original piece by one of the artists you follow on Instagram? Then pay a visit to the online gallery of @artiststakeaction.
Each month, this Instagram-only auction sells the works of a selection of artists, with the proceeds going to charity (a different one each time). You simply comment your bid on the piece you want and, if you win, you donate the money directly to the charity. Once you’ve provided your receipt as proof of purchase, the artist ships the piece to you for your wall. Puts a new slant on making a ‘good investment’.
