British illustrator Louise Lockhart visited the Flow office in the Netherlands for a few days at the end of last year. She stayed in the city of Utrecht and worked as an artist-in-residence creating the illustrations in this post, among others.
“An illustrator friend, Bodil Jane, showed me around Utrecht,” she says. “We visited the Centraal Museum and we saw the Dick Bruna studio. It is so clean and tidy! We ate French fries with mayonnaise because that’s what you do in the Netherlands. At the moment I’m working on a children’s book about the history of art. It’s a lot of work, but a lot of fun to do.”
