The dividers in issue 17 of Flow Magazine are all focused on celebrities from a different angle: behind the lens of a camera as opposed to in front of one.
The first (shown here) is Grace Kelly (1929-1982). This photo was taken in 1955 during the Cannes Film Festival in France, where Grace headed the US delegation and—more importantly—where she met Prince Rainer III of Monaco. Upon returning to America, Grace began work on The Swan, in which she portrayed a princess. She also began a private correspondence with Rainier, and on April 19, 1956, the American actress married her prince, just like in the plot of her movie, which was in cinemas that year too. Much to her regret, however, Grace had to give up her film career for her husband. The last movie in which she starred was High Society in 1956. Grace Kelly died on September 14, 1982, a day after she suffered a mild stroke while driving and her car veered off the road and down a mountainside. She was survived by her husband and their three children, Caroline, Albert and Stephanie, the latter of whom was in the car with her at the time.
